Operations Manager


As Rolyn’s Operations Manager, Joseph Melvin is responsible for the overall management and completion of hundreds of emergency restoration, remediation, and decontamination projects annually. His experience and training allow him to oversee job production, budgeting, cost forecasting, and customer relations for both residential and commercial clients. He oversees a team of Project Managers, and monitors and maintains job progress, costs, and tracking of change orders.

With over ten years of experience, Joe leverages his expertise to deliver positive results in this specialized and growing industry. He has worked on a wide range of remediation and reconstruction disciplines, giving him the ability to manage complex multi-site projects. He consistently meets budgets, schedules, and client goals and objectives. His experience also includes site evaluations, assessments, municipal planning and development, construction specifications, procurement, layout, and project design.

When he is not managing projects at Rolyn, he is cheering on the Washington Redskins or can be found coaching flag football. He also likes to go on nature hikes with his wife and his dog.
